Benefits of physical exercise in spatial memory discrimination and orientation in a virtual environment.

Benefits of physical exercise in spatial memory discrimination and orientation in a virtual environment.

Regular physical exercise is known to have beneficial effects on brain health and cognition, particularly memory. However, the effects of a short period of physical exercise on the storage of information about near-time experiences are not known. In this project we develop a spatial memory task in a virtual room to evaluate the effect of a short period of exercise on the ability to separate memories from similar experiences.
