<p>Por primera vez se realizó en el país, el meeting de la World Federation of Neurology Aphasia and Cognitive Disorders Research Group e INECO fue el organizador. Este meeting es una reunión cerrada a sus miembros que se realiza cada dos años y reunen los principales investigadores cognitivos de diferentes partes del mundo para discutir los últimos avances y el futuro de la neurología cognitiva. El 27 de Febrero Karalyn Patterson de Cambridge y Matt Lambon Ralph de Manchester discutieron en INECO los posibles aportes del Castellano al estudio del lenguaje.
